BACKGROUND.Altagrazia thinks she's quite similar to many other bright young girls her age in the Netherlands. She was raised by an Italian mother who sealed the fear of God into her underdeveloped frontal lobe since she started to crawl, but who also raised her to be a family woman and a pillar in her society. . Not born an aristocrat, though, she ever only knows how to respectfully avoid insulting them, and fails to understand the fragile nuances of high society women.Behind her serious, well-mannered and slightly detached exterior, though, Altagrazia is constantly debating with herself about complex spiritual topics, and seeks spiritual validation, signals, or any other excuse to feed into her delusion that she has been hand-picked by God himself for something, anything. She constantly feels like she's being called, experiences spiritual ecstasy and convinces herself that God is acting through her and her family. She is permanently dissociated, always staring too long, investigating too deep, trying to convey the true meanings of the most mundane events so she can feel connected to God and to her so-called mission.She's the only living niece of Abraham Van–Helsing, a Dutch erudite, professor, doctor, and demonology expert who used to work under a secret Vatican organization hunting monsters (vampires, demons, cultists, possessed humans, undead humans, and the alike.)Though her uncle was not a constant in her life until she was already a young adult and she had to move to England with him.Growing up she lived with her father, mother and her cousin, Abraham's only son, who had to stay behind as his father traveled around Europe fighting monsters. Unfortunately, the boy passed away young, leaving Altagrazia as the only Van Helsing child, and thus prompting her to become The Heiress.

❝ THE POSSESSION.After arriving to England, Altagrazia worked developing specialty anti-monster weapons for a while before encountering an accident with a Vampire.
She treated the vampire bite as a poison and managed to avoid transforming into a monster. After recovering, she started having intense lucid dreaming and religious ecstasy about the vampire and its possible use as an anti-monster chemical weapon.Her uncle does have access to the vampire Dracula, but that is his object of study, and Altagrazia is forbidden from going down to the dungeon where it lays.So she parted to Rumania guided by the voice in her head, determined to find the vampire that bit her and capture it.Instead of finding the vampire, she ends up finding a creature that exists outside of evil and goodness; a creature of Chaos, disorganization, selfishness and leisure named Anya. This creature presented itself as someone acquainted with Altagrazia's uncle.Turns out the creature had lured Altagrazia in because, without knowing, she is something called a "recipient of Lilith", and Anya wishes to take over the recipient and cause havoc.Altagrazia puts up a good fight against the creature, but because its not related to holiness or evilness, her weapons are useless. Cracking its body open proves a fatal mistake, as the creature was locked inside its form, and once free it sneaks inside Altagrazia and latches onto her soul, effectively taking over the recipient.When it returns to London from Rumania, the creature wears Altagrazia's face and pretends to be her around everyone she knows.

Born to Arthur Van Helsing and Carlotta Salieri, Altagrazia is a young woman of italian-dutch descend the only young left in the Van Helsing family after her cousin passed away, and her uncle's second wife passed. ==She came to London with her uncle, leaving behind her Catholic father, her town, and a quiet but comfortably boring life.At 22, her mother believes she should have long been married, but Altagrazia is convinced that she must heed the call of God and remain His bride, focusing her whole attention to the mission her uncle carries, that now also falls on her.Her father, a devoted catholic, abandoned her and her mother upon learning they were all deserting the Vatican. Altagrazia, raised catholic but deeply intelligent, found him and his faith weak. For her, the transition from Catholicism to Protestantism was natural, as she felt the ritualistic nature of Catholicism was a wall that separated her from God.She has read Luther and other wise men, and embraces the new faith eagerly❝ Anya / Altagrazia...After becoming host to the Chaos creature known as Anya, Altagrazia remains trapped inside her own body and mind. Her soul feeds the creature and serves as motor for it to use her body.She remains human, and can die despite her possessed host status, but also exhibits some of the god-like prowess Anya has. Such powers, though, terribly drain her soul's energy and cause the real Altagrazia a great deal of pain.When the creature is fronting, she puts effort into pretending to be Altagrazia, although it can't help to like messing with people's boundaries. It acts uncanny and far too bold, then masks it as jokes or teasing, despite it being incredibly out of character for Altagrazia to do what it does.

▍ ❝   ANYA - CREATURE OF CHAOS ITSELF.
Also known as THE CREATURE or THE PARASITE.Anya took over Altagrazia's body for its own interests; although they are not great nor they possess a threat for humanity itself.The parasite wishes to torture Abraham Van Helsing and Thomas St. James. It desires to also bother Luxero, a creature of Chaotic balance that currently holds the title of God (and who had been whispering inside Altagrazia's mind with the purpose of also torturing Abraham Van Helsing.)Its personality is chaotic, uncanny, and eerily out of character while it pretends to be Altagrazia. It has access to all her memories, her mind, her desires, her secrets and her fears; she uses these to interact with everyone in her life, mimicking her while purposefully making her appear weird and strangely changed.Altagrazia, eventually, learns a way to force the creature back so she can front her own body again, but getting rid of it entirely will not be so easy.

▍ ❝   MOTIVATIONS.
Once the concept of what the Hellsing Organization would become falls into her plate, she is thrilled with the mission her family has been assigned. She's not delusional enough to believe she will clean the world of evil herself, as her dissertations imply there must be evil for God to show goodness, but the prospect of becoming the wielder of God's sword, to act in pro of God; have the Anglican Church listen to her and actually let her build her weapons and blessed items is a dream come true. She must, however, overcome her own struggles and spiritual chains to continue with the mission entrusted to her family without spiraling.▍ ❝   PHYSICAL.
Altagrazia is blonde. She has icy blue eyes, and a slim, pretty weak body. She fell as a child, and broke her right ankle. She hid the wound from her parents for too long, and the bone didn't heal properly. Ever since, it hurts to walk too fast, and if she tries to move fast she has to limp, so she moves rather slowly. She wears her hair up, with a fringe falling on her forehead and two locks carefully curled to frame her face.Her taste in clothing is modest, bordering in the old-fashioned and gloomy. She prefers to wear black, brown, gray, and in some events navy blue or green.

▍ ❝   FIGHTING STATS.
She's definitely a strategist; more brain that muscle. When in panic, she reacts quickly, and her capacity to think quickly makes up for her lack of physicality.She wears blessed items head to toe: from the rosary around her neck to her chastity ring, to the wires of her corset. She also carries a small knife attached to her right inner thigh, which is also heavily blessed.Her main weapon is a large BODEO 10.35MM Anti-Monster Combat Pistol "ISCARIOTE"▍explosive blessed rounds.▍ Loads and fires 12 bullets before needing to recharge.▍Especial 13th explosive compartment to load non-bullet items (such as crosses, small pieces of blessed metal) when it runs out of blessed bullets.On occasion she carries a lady hand fan, which hides a 10 INCH DOUBLE EDGE BLADE made with 13 blessed bullets, one for each apostle.All her blessed items have been left to soak in holy water for at least 40 days.

Altagrazia is rather serious and cold. She is always slightly dissociated, and more than an introvert, she simply doesn't enjoy much interacting with others. She is new to London, so she goes out to walk around the city a lot. She's extremely aloof sometimes. For one as smart and ruthless as Altagrazia can (and will) be, she often misses social cues, or understands things too literally. She tends to speak softly, and stare in silence for far too long.She also has to remind herself constantly that she needs to give physical cues of attention such as eye contact, nods of her head, or words.
She has been socialized as a woman, though, so she's always hyperaware of the expectations others have of her. She knows being a young, unmarried woman at her age could lead to scandal if she's ever sloppy with who she frequents and at what hours.▍ ❝   POSSESED.When the creature Anya is fronting, her personality becomes slightlty more extroverted and ongoing while staying cold, silent, and serious.She will, however, say things that may sound flirty or teasy, things that may come across as disgusting or disturbing, and even touch sensitive topics or cross boundaries easily and elocuently. The parasite will, however, always mask it as jesting or playful conversation, and use Altagrazia's memories to retreat into her personality and fool those who suspect it.
